Why This Seat Matters

The Utah House of Representatives shapes state law on healthcare, education, public safety, and the constitutional principles that define how Utah governs itself. House District 11 covers South Ogden and surrounding communities in Weber County, and the families there deserve a representative who shows up, listens, and delivers. The November 2, 2026 general election will determine who holds this seat.

Meet Katy

Katy Hall has worn a lot of hats. She’s a wife, the mother of four sons, a proud mother-in-law to three daughters-in-law, and a grandmother to six. She’s a registered nurse, a high school tennis coach, and an Ironman athlete. She’s a Navy wife and an Air Force mom — her husband and one of her sons currently serve in uniform, which means patriotism, the rule of law, and respect for the Constitution aren’t political positions in her household. They’re lived values.

She was elected to represent House District 11 four years ago and has spent that time doing the job the way she believes it should be done: consistent communication with constituents, collaboration with local leaders, and a genuine commitment to making sure the people who elected her know what’s happening before they read about it elsewhere. Her goal, in her own words, is to ensure the “silent majority” is informed, engaged, and heard. That’s not a campaign slogan. It’s how she approaches the work.

Her background as a registered nurse shapes everything. She understands healthcare from the inside, not from a policy briefing, and that practical, firsthand knowledge is exactly what thoughtful lawmaking requires.

What She’s Running On

Principled Conservatism — Katy’s governing philosophy starts with a simple premise: limited government, personal responsibility, and policies grounded in the Constitution and common sense. She doesn’t treat these as talking points. They’re the framework she brings to every vote and every decision.

Healthcare — As a practicing nurse, Katy knows what works and what doesn’t in Utah’s healthcare system. She’s focused on practical reforms that improve patient care, support the healthcare workers who deliver it, strengthen accountability across the system, and bring costs down for families.

Support for Military and Law Enforcement — With family members actively serving in uniform, Katy’s commitment to the military and law enforcement is personal. She’ll always stand up for those who protect the nation and keep communities safe.

Education — As a parent and grandparent, Katy believes children deserve schools that help them thrive — academically, physically, and mentally. She supports strong local schools and the kind of community investment in children’s wellbeing that sets them up to succeed.

The Field

Katy Hall ran uncontested, securing the Republican nomination. As the incumbent, she’s spent four years building the relationships and demonstrating the consistency that earn a community’s trust. She will be on the November 3, 2026 general election ballot. That’s why we’re proud to endorse her.
