Doers Network, Inc. ("Doers Network," "we," "our," or "us") is a Utah nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for social welfare purposes and designated as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information obtained through our website at www.doersnetwork.org (the "Site"), our email communications, our events, and our advocacy activities. It also describes the rights you may have with respect to your personal information depending on your state of residence.

By accessing or using the Site, or by providing personal information to us through any channel, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the practices described herein, please do not use the Site or submit personal information to us. Use of the Site is restricted to individuals who are at least 18 years of age.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you interact with us, including through the following channels:

• Contact and supporter registration forms: name, email address, telephone number, and mailing address.
• Donation forms: name, email address, mailing address, and, as required by applicable campaign finance laws, the name of your employer and your occupation.
• Event registration and ticket purchase forms: name, email address, telephone number, and payment information.
• Petitions, surveys, and advocacy tools: name, email address, and any additional information you choose to provide in connection with a particular action.
• Contact forms and correspondence: any personal information included in emails, online form submissions, or other communications you direct to us.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed on the Site, the duration of your visit, and the date and time of your requests. This information is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies, as described in detail in Section 7 below.

1.3 Payment and Financial Information

All donations and event ticket purchases made through the Site are processed by NationBuilder, our platform and payment processing provider. When you complete a payment, your payment card information is transmitted directly to NationBuilder and its underlying payment processor. Doers Network does not receive, store, or otherwise process raw payment card data. NationBuilder's handling of payment information is subject to NationBuilder's own privacy policy and applicable Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information we collect for the following purposes:

• To process your donations and transmit payment confirmations and receipts;
• To register you for events, process ticket purchases, and send event-related communications;
• To send you newsletters, advocacy alerts, fundraising solicitations, and political communications consistent with our mission as a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization;
• To comply with applicable federal and state campaign finance laws, including requirements to collect and disclose donor employer and occupation information;
• To respond to your inquiries, requests, and correspondence;
• To analyze how visitors interact with the Site and to improve our digital presence and user experience;
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other unlawful or unauthorized activity;
• To comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, and other legal obligations; and
• For any other purpose for which you provided the information or to which you have consented.

3. Email Communications

Doers Network uses NationBuilder to manage and distribute all of its email communications. Our email program includes the following categories: (a) one-off and group emails related to our advocacy, civic engagement, and organizational activities; (b) recurring newsletters and informational updates; (c) fundraising solicitations; (d) political communications, legislative alerts, and calls to action; and (e) transactional emails, including donation receipts, event registration confirmations, and account-related notices.

Opt-Out from Marketing and Newsletter Communications. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters, fundraising emails, advocacy alerts, or other non-transactional communications, you may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in the footer of any such email. You may also request removal by contacting us directly at [email protected].

Transactional Emails. Even after you unsubscribe from marketing or newsletter communications, Doers Network may continue to send you transactional emails necessary to complete or document a transaction you have initiated or as required by law. Transactional emails include donation receipts, event ticket confirmations, and required legal notices; these are not subject to opt-out.

Political Solicitations. To the extent our email communications constitute political solicitations under applicable federal or state law, they are subject to applicable identification, disclaimer, and disclosure requirements. Opting out of general marketing email lists will remove you from those lists; Doers Network retains the right to contact supporters as required by law or as otherwise permitted by applicable regulations.

4. Event Registration and Activities

4.1 Registration and Ticket Information

When you RSVP for or purchase a ticket to an event through the Site, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, and any other information requested on the registration form, in addition to payment information as described in Section 1.3. This information is used to process your registration, manage attendance, communicate event logistics, and send post-event materials. All event registration transactions are processed through NationBuilder.

4.2 Refunds

Refunds for event tickets, if any, are subject to the refund policy of the specific event host and are not guaranteed. Please review event-specific refund terms at the time of purchase.

4.3 Photography, Video, and Recording at Events

Doers Network, its staff, volunteers, contractors, and authorized representatives may photograph, video record, livestream, or otherwise capture images and audio at events organized or co-hosted by Doers Network. By attending any such event, you acknowledge and agree that your image, likeness, and voice may be captured and that such content may be used by Doers Network in its communications, website, social media channels, publications, fundraising materials, and other organizational materials, without additional notice, compensation, or consent. If you have concerns about being photographed or recorded, please notify event staff upon your arrival.

5. Political Disclosure and Campaign Finance

5.1 Donor Confidentiality as a 501(c)(4) Organization

Doers Network is organized and operated as a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. Under current federal law, 501(c)(4) organizations are not required to publicly disclose their donors on IRS Form 990, and our donor lists are not public records. We treat donor identity and contribution information as confidential and will not sell, rent, or trade donor lists to unaffiliated third parties for commercial purposes.

5.2 Campaign Finance Disclosure Obligations

Doers Network's commitment to donor confidentiality is subject to applicable law. To the extent that Doers Network engages in activities that trigger mandatory disclosure obligations under federal or state law — including but not limited to independent expenditures, electioneering communications, or ballot measure advocacy — we are legally required to disclose certain contributor and expenditure information to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and/or the Utah Lieutenant Governor's Office (Office of Elections). When you make a donation, we may be required to collect and report your full name, mailing address, employer name, and occupation to regulatory authorities. Providing false or misleading information in connection with a campaign finance disclosure requirement may constitute a violation of applicable law.

5.3 Affiliated Organizations — Data Sharing with PACs and Political Issues Committees

Doers Network may share supporter contact information — including name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number — with affiliated political action committees (PACs), political issues committees (PICs), and related advocacy organizations, to the extent such sharing is permitted under applicable federal and state law and is consistent with our organizational mission. Such sharing is limited to supporter contact data and does not include payment card information or sensitive financial data. 6. Disclosure of Your Information to Third Parties

Doers Network does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to unaffiliated third parties for their own commercial marketing purposes. We may disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share personal information with NationBuilder and other third-party vendors that perform services on our behalf. These vendors are authorized to use your information only as necessary to perform services for Doers Network.
• Affiliated Organizations: As described in Section 5.3, we may share supporter contact information with affiliated PACs, PICs, and advocacy organizations.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information when required by applicable law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or other legal process.
• Organizational Transfers: In the event of a merger, consolidation, reorganization, or transfer of substantially all of Doers Network's organizational assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
• With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your express prior consent.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

7.1 Overview

Doers Network's website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Site, analyze usage patterns, and support communications. We use two primary categories of cookies: NationBuilder platform cookies and Google Analytics cookies.

7.2 NationBuilder Platform Cookies

Our website is hosted and operated on the NationBuilder platform. NationBuilder sets session cookies essential to the operation of the Site, including maintaining session state (e.g., keeping you logged in, preserving form data across multi-step processes such as donation or event registration). Disabling NationBuilder session cookies may impair or prevent core Site features including the ability to complete donations or event registrations. NationBuilder's use of cookies is governed by NationBuilder's privacy policy at www.nationbuilder.com/privacy.

7.3 Google Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the Site. Google Analytics sets the _ga cookie (expires after 2 years), the _gid cookie (expires after 24 hours), and the _gat cookie (used to throttle request rates). You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

7.4 Managing Cookies Through Your Browser

Most web browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or receive alerts when cookies are set. Disabling NationBuilder session cookies may impair core Site functionality.

7.5 Do-Not-Track Signals

Because there is no universally accepted standard for responding to Do-Not-Track (DNT) signals, Doers Network does not currently modify its data collection practices in response to DNT signals.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy and to comply with our legal obligations. Our general data retention schedule is as follows:

• Supporter/contact data (name, email, phone, address): Duration of active supporter relationship + 3 years following last contact or confirmed opt-out.
• Donor records (identity, amounts, employer/occupation): 7 years from date of contribution (tax compliance and campaign finance law).
• Event registration and ticketing data: 2 years from date of event.
• Campaign finance disclosure records: As required by applicable federal and state law; not less than 5 years.
• Website analytics data (Google Analytics): 26 months (Google Analytics default retention setting).
• Correspondence and support records: 3 years from date of communication.

When information is no longer required, we will delete or anonymize it using methods designed to prevent reconstruction.

9. Data Security

We implement and maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Our website is hosted on the NationBuilder platform, which maintains its own security program. Payment processing is handled by NationBuilder's payment infrastructure, which is designed to meet applicable PCI DSS requirements.

No method of data transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. If you have reason to believe that your information has been compromised, please notify us immediately at [email protected].

10. Your Privacy Rights

10.1 General Rights

Regardless of your state of residence, you may contact us at any time to: (a) request access to the personal information we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information; (c) opt out of email communications as described in Section 3; or (d) inquire about our data practices. 10.2 Utah Residents — Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA)

The Utah Consumer Privacy Act (Utah Code Ann. § 13-61-101 et seq.), effective December 31, 2023, provides certain rights to Utah residents. To the extent Doers Network's data processing activities are subject to the UCPA, Utah residents may have the right to confirm whether we are processing their personal data and to access, delete, correct, or obtain a portable copy of that data, and to opt out of the processing of their personal data for targeted advertising or sale. Doers Network does not sell personal data or engage in targeted advertising as defined under the UCPA. Submit UCPA requests to [email protected] with the subject line "Utah Privacy Request."

10.3 California Residents — CCPA/CPRA Rights

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive personal information. Doers Network does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Submit CCPA/CPRA requests to [email protected] with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10.4 Other State Privacy Laws

To the extent any other state consumer privacy law applies to Doers Network's processing activities, we are committed to complying with its requirements. Please contact us with any state-specific privacy inquiry.

11. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for use only by individuals who are at least 18 years of age. Doers Network does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take prompt steps to delete it. Contact us at [email protected] if you believe we may have collected information from a minor.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party website. Doers Network is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or data practices of any linked third-party site. NationBuilder's privacy policy governs NationBuilder's own data practices in its capacity as our platform provider.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any revisions will be effective upon posting the updated Policy to the Site, which will bear a revised effective date. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting a prominent announcement on the Site or, where feasible, by sending an email notification to supporters in our system. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
