Meet Tracy

Tracy Miller’s path to the Utah House runs through a lifetime of community investment. Before she ever cast a vote in the legislature, she spent eight years on the Jordan School District Board of Education — four of them as President — building a deep understanding of how education funding, curriculum decisions, and local governance actually affect kids and families.

That experience didn’t just inform her policy positions. It shaped how she governs. In her first term, Tracy authored legislation expanding the child tax credit for Utah families — a concrete, meaningful win for working households across her district. She approaches every issue with the same mindset she brought to the school board: listen first, understand the tradeoffs, and make decisions that actually serve the people who sent you there.

Tracy is a steadfast conservative who believes strong families, responsible spending, and respect for local control are the foundations of good government. She’s running for re-election because there’s more work to do — and she’s the right person to do it.

Strong Families & Education — Tracy’s eight years leading the Jordan School District Board give her firsthand insight into what families need from their schools.
