Steve A. Hiatt, a lifelong Northern Utah resident, served ten years in elected office—two on the Kaysville City Council and eight as the city’s 38th Mayor, becoming Utah’s youngest mayor at the time. He guided Kaysville’s growth while preserving its hometown character and later served as President of the Utah League of Cities and Towns. A strong military advocate, Steve is Vice President of the Utah Defense Alliance and a member of the USAF Air Combat Commander’s Civic Leader Group. In 2025, Hill Air Force Base honored him with the Community Wingman Award. He owns and operates Wasatch Capital Mortgage and The Hiatt Group – Government Affairs.
